DZL Construction Pty Ltd (ABN 53 698 419 313) is committed to acting ethically and to reducing the risk of modern slavery and human trafficking in our operations and supply chains.
Reporting status. Mandatory reporting under the Modern Slavery Act 2018 (Cth) applies to entities with annual consolidated revenue of at least AUD 100 million. We are below that threshold and are not required to lodge a statement. We publish this statement voluntarily because we source from overseas manufacturers and believe it is the right thing to do and matters to our trade customers.
Our business and supply chains
We supply precision CNC-machined and stamped metal components and commercial LED lighting to trade and OEM customers in Australia. Our goods are sourced from manufacturing partners in Australia and overseas, including in China.
Risk areas
We recognise that the highest modern-slavery risk in our chain sits with overseas manufacturing and lower-tier suppliers of raw materials and components.
What we do
- We expect our suppliers to comply with applicable labour laws and to prohibit forced, bonded and child labour;
- We prefer suppliers who can demonstrate recognised certifications and acceptable labour practices;
- We are progressively introducing a Supplier Code of Conduct and supplier due-diligence questions into our sourcing;
- We will investigate and act on any credible concern raised about our supply chain.
Raising concerns
If you have information or concerns about modern slavery connected to our business or supply chain, contact us at admin@dzlconstruction.yesweb.com.au. We review this statement at least annually.
